One I often use is to get people to go outside, choose something they see, and write a description of it without using any 'give away' words or terms. Then they have to get others in the class to guess what item it is.
This poses an interesting challenge - keeping the balance between being too obvious and too obscure. Some of the descriptions are fabulous.
It usually leads to it being a funny class, too, with some very creative guessing.
It's also a good exercise to use if you want to break up a long workshop class.
