Traditional Storytelling, Personal Narrative & Community Building

I'm a storyteller (Traditional folktales), creative writer and in my third year of Candidature. My thesis consists of a novel and exegesis. The novel combines traditional and retold folktales, creative and experimental writing, and personal narrative. The exegesis focuses on the role of storytelling in relation to personal narrative and storytelling as a means of community building/sustaining.

Is there anyone out there who would like to 'swap and share' research/ideas/questions re: traditional storytelling in relation to personal narrative, and, storytelling and community building?
