My philosophy of supervision might be gauged from articles I've written about the exegesis and the academic novel (see http://www.textjournal.com.au/april02/krauth.htm and Krauth, N 2008 ‘The novel and the academic novel’, in Graeme Harper and Jeri Kroll (eds) Creative Writing Studies: Practice, Research and Pedagogy, Multilingual Matters, Clevedon, UK: 10-20). This is reflected too in how I examine: I am open to the submitted work creating its own criteria in light of current academic and industry discourse and standards.
