This is an advance notice of the 2011 Writing Prize.

A panel of judges will shortlist the entries, and the winner will be announced at our end-of-year Queensland Writing Gala, to be held on the Rooftop Terrace of the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) on Thursday, October 21. In addition to the $2,000 award to the winner, Highly Commended certificates will be awarded to all shortlisted candidates, and the final entries will be published in the annual QUT Creative Writing and Literary Studies journal, Rex.
We look forward to a big number of entries in what is Australia’s most lucrative postgraduate writing award.
